Valentine's Day!

Brylie really got into Valentine's Day this yr. She had so much fun making Daddy his card. She help me make Daddy's favorite red velvet cupcakes. She so love decorating them with sprinkles. Daddy also got a nice little surprise, breakfast in bed. This was a great v-day. Matt took me out to shop for some new clothes. Then the family went to the church v-day dinner. There was babysitting for the kids and the adults ate a Italian dinner and played fun games. Yes, we got to play the newly wed game and so lost. This was a great way to celebrate this holiday and will remember all the fun memories this year had in store.

Weekend fun with old friends

This past weekend was tons of fun even with our hubbies tagging along. We ( old college friends) try to get together at least once a year. We usually have a girls weekend but we changed the rules this year. I must say the boys got along and maybe had more fun that us girls? I really don't think that is possible. We ate a ton of great food and bowling was so much fun. GIRLS Rule since we beat the guys. Here are some pictures of this great weekend. This was a fun weekend and I can't wait until next year to do it all again.

A Moment in Time

I have been doing a little project with Brylie the last few days and found these old pictures. Don't worry I will post the project when we are done. Anyway, here are some pictures I took for Lawson's birth announcement. I forgot how little he was and how Brylie kept getting into the pictures. Looking back now I would have just put her in the pictures. I guess I just wanted him to have his day in the spot light?

But whatever their assignment in your life,on whatever the occasion,on whatever the day,or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself …those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman,but for many, it’s wrapped up in several… one from 7th grade,one from high school,several from the college years,a couple from old jobs,on some days your mother,on some days your neighbor,on others, your sisters,and on some days, your daughters.

OK, I found this to be so fun. Man, where did my babies go? Like every mother says, it seems like just yesterday, that I took this picture. I remember how I was so pleased that everyone looked like they were happy. I so miss my Brylie's curls those too have faded away. I also forgot how big Lawson's eyes look on his tiny head. I really feel he has grown into those beautiful Big brown eyes. Oh, one more thing I must be honest this is not my 4th picture b/c the 4th picture was way too blurry.
