This year Brylie didn't want a girly birthday but one the boys might like too? She came up with this ideas almost right after her 5th birthday. Yes, she does like her parties and does plan right after her last b-day her next b-day. I so don't get where she gets this. he he So Brylie wanted to do an paint party. She want to do stations so everyone could paint, draw ,and color. She at this time in her life thinks she wants to be an artist. Every time she draws or colors something she ask me do you think I getting better and one day will be an artist? It is too cute. Anyway we had her birthday at the park and it was tons of messy fun. Here are some pictures of that great day!
The very next day my parents and I took Brylie to American Girl to do some shopping. Brylie got the Rebecca doll for her birthday from Nana and Papa Dale. We spent 3 hours at that place. She loved every minute of it and would love to go back soon. We got Rebecca's hair done. We picked out several outfits and of course some that matched for Brylie. We ate at the bistro and they sang Happy Birthday to her. This was differently a birthday to remember. Thanks again grandparents and aunts and uncles who made this shopping day at American Girl so much fun!

Little Red Riding Hood
Ok, so today is the big day! Brylie had Fairy Tale/Nursery Rhyme Day. These kids were so stinking cute. At time I couldn't stop laughing at how cute they all were. They all went up on stage and were introduced by their characters name. They then sang a song and said a nursery rhyme as a class. Man there were some really cute costumes. I was so wondering what the little boys would dress up as and man those mama's were so creative. I must say I am sad I didn't get a picture of this one because this costume was the best by far. It was a little boy dressed up as Pinocchio. He was a puppet on a string. That mama worked way too hard on that costumes. Then at the end the Kindergarten teacher got up and sang a song they made up about nursery rhymes and fairy tales and did a little dance to go with it. What a cute Kindergarten memory we made today.
Brylie after being introduce and running from the Big Bad Wolf AKA Cole. He is a little boy in her class and he was dressed up as a wolf

Lawson's 1st day @ LHS and Brylie's 1st take home reader!
Here are some pictures of my little man Law on his 1st day back to LHS. He was not in the mood to take pictures but I got a few okay ones. He is in Mrs. Sarah's class this year. I am very excited because we are good friends but a little nervous about my boy. He can be such a mess and get into so much trouble. He had a wonderful first day. Mrs. Sarah could tell me anything but wonderful things about how well he did and how much he has grown up this summer. It must be time since sister is now not there to tell him what to do.
Here is a picture of a very happy little girl with her 1st take home reader and word ring. Yet another milestone we have come to this year.

I finally found out ...I might be a little crafty?
This summer I told my mother I needed to try to be crafty and make a few thing while at her house. I don't have a sewing machine so I have to use hers or my friend Sarah's or get my mother-in-law to sew together some creations. I still have a long way to go but it's sure has been tons of fun. Here are some of the things I have been creating with help from others. Thanks so much for your hard work on the peace sign Ashley and Sarah. I also want to say thanks to my mother-in-law she saved my life. She help me with Brylie's birthday outfit and the Red Riding Hood, hood. Brylie has fairy tale day at school on Friday and I found at Kid to Kid a very cute skirt that just said Red Riding Hood to me. It didn't come with a hood so I was going to have to make something? That was going to be NOT fun trying to make this hood. So thanks again my wonderful mother-in-law for giving up your Saturday to help me with all my many projects. Have to wait till Friday for the Red Riding Hood pictures.

This Saturday the kids and I loaded up the car and went down to visit my brother and his family. We got to meet our new little cousin Knoxon. He is so sweet! It was a great visit but too short. Darran my brother will have to be leaving out this Wednesday to go back to Afghanistan. Please keep him in your prayers and his little family.
