Bentley Christmas

The Saturday before Christmas we get together with Jeanelle's side of the family ( mother-in-law). We always met up at Aunt Marchelle's house. She just loves Christmas and out does herself with decorations and yummy food. This year was not different. We had tons of fun with family and the kids loved opening all their gifts. It is so fun when gifts bring so much joy to a little one. I am so thankful for family and I love spending time with them during the Holiday season or any time of the year.

Christmas Recap 2009

Merry Christmas everybody!! Hope you all had a good one! Christmas was awesome this year….busy…but awesome.I really couldn't’t have asked for a better Christmas. I was able to spend several days with loved ones, including close friends. I am still completely stuffed from numerous hearty-home cooked meals and Christmas Cookies. And I must of have been good this year, because my stocking was not full of coal:I got a sewing machine, so watch out for blogs about what I crafting. Oh, and go see Avatar…It is so worth it. I felt the story or plot lacked a bit, but the unbelievably crazy special effects made up for it.I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and Santa was good to you. And I hope everyone took it easy on their back with the wet, heavy, and icy holiday snowfall. Here are the pictures to prove that our Christmas was so awesome!

More Christams Fun!

This past weekend Lawson was sick with strep. We didn't get out the house from Thursday till Sunday. So on Sunday we all had a little cabin fever. I thought it would be a great idea to go to Bass Pro during the Cowboy game so nobody would be there to see Santa. Apparently lots of people thought the same thing. It was a complete mad house. We got our fast pass and did the centers and the carousel and still had a hour in half till it was our turn to get in line to see Santa. So we left and went over to Grapevine Mills and feed the kids and did a little shopping. Then we finally returned back to Bass Pro for our turn to wait in line. Man, this is not a fun Christmas memory. Anyway we can now check off the list to see Santa.

On Tuesday was Lawson's Christmas Program at LHS. He didn't mess up any of the words to the song. Well, maybe that because he didn't sing at all. He just stood up there and did a few of the hand motions. The rest of the time he kept trying to see what thing they stuck on his head for the song. It was still cute and entertaining for the family. Then after the program Santa came out. Well, Brylie figure out a couple of years back that he was not the real one but instead Mr. Richard (AKA Santa's Helper) She was glad he has a connections so she could tell him what she left off when she saw the real Santa.
