On the Farm

We had such a fun weekend! The kids and I went with our friends Allison and Megan to Mainstay farm. They had so many cool things like: a petting zoo, hayrides, face painting, three story tree house, a western town, go-cart race track, and huge slide for older kids and a really cool maze. We had fun on the hay ride and loved the tree house. The kids had a great time and nobody had a fit. Allison and I couldn't believe it since no one had a nap.

Priceless

Conversations with Brylie

Me: Brylie don't drive so crazy, you might have a wreck! (driving her barbie jeep)

Brylie: Mommy, will I die and go to heaven?

Me: Brylie you are not going to die, you just might hurt yourself

Brylie: Mommy, but if I die will I go to heaven?

Me: Yes, you would go to heaven and live with GOD

Brylie: Mommy, how do I get to heaven?

Me: You have to be nice and share with your friends and obey Mommy and Daddy and also your teacher. You will need to tell others about GOD.

Bedtime
Brylie: Mommy, tomorrow I going to obey my teacher and you and Daddy. I going to be nice and share with my friends. Mommy, I need to tell somebody about GOD

Few Days later at the store

Me: Brylie you need to sit down in the cart. What are you looking for?

Brylie: I need to find someone tell them about GOD

My Lil' Pumpkins

I just love this time of year. Too bad the weather around here does not feel like fall. I don't let a little thing like 89 degrees stop me from dressing the kids in fall clothes to take pictures. I just loved the shots, I took last fall with the pumpkin. So I could not let this year pass me by with out trying to recapture the moment. Oh, how something don't change, like Lawson hating the pumpkin I put him in each year. I just love being a mommy and the fun things I get to do to my kids for each season.

2. Clothes that are so baggy, I look like a boy (High School days)

3. Rolling up my pants leg that special way

4. Wearing two pairs of socks alternating colors

5. Pink and blue eyeshadow with frosting color lip gloss

I tag April and Allison. Can't wait to read your never agains!

Second round for Halloween Pics

Yes, this is my second attempt to get a picture of these two. First attempt was wonderful for Brylie, she took great pictures as Ariel. I had gone to a new place with cool props and amazing beach back drop. Lawson loved it he wanted to play with everything. He just did not want to be apart of the pictures. We spent sometime trying to take pictures and lots of fits and crying. We called it a day and went home with out any pictures. I thought I might go to a place with people who know toddlers and can handle the tough ones. So today after nap we went to Kiddie Kandids, it was wonderful! I am so glad we got these pictures.

Yes, you might want to know why Lawson has two costumes. Well, the cowboy one my Mom made for my nephew Bryson. I kept bothering poor Cherise and Mom for it, to take his one year pictures. (since we had a cowboy birthday) So Cherise mail the outfit to Mom and she remade the missing chap. I think it turned out so cute.

Fire House Pictures

Fall Fun!

This has been such a fun and busy weekend. I just wanted to share my photos and stories with everyone. I tried to take pictures of the kids in their Halloween PJ's. Lawson had more important things to do than sit still for a picture. So the pictures this morning are mainly of my Lil Princess.

Matt came home from a work day at church and we dressed the kids in their Halloween shirts, off we went to the local pumpkin patch to take pictures. I have been taking Brylie here since she was a tiny baby. I will have to post old pictures to show how much the kids have changed over the years. It is almost impossible to get them still and look some what at the camera at the same time. We did have fun trying and I think I got a few good shots. Brylie is so excited about the pumpkins we got to paint.

For lunch we went to the Fire Dept. Open House for hot dogs and chips. The kids loved it! They had a bounce house, tours of the fire house, clowns, and demos the firemen put on. After all that fun we took pictures on the fire trucks, Lawson is such a boy. He love's the fire trucks and cried when we took him out. It has been a very fun family day. It made the kids so tired they both slept over 2 hours!

Now its off again to join the Chappell's for a good old fashion backyard BBQ. Did we ever mention we love weekends.
