Halloween Fun

This Halloween will most definitely make the memory books. Lawson for sometime now has wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Which by the way, very hard to find. This costume was not in any of the stores only online. So like any good Mommy I tried to talk him into something else that the stores had. Ha, Ha, that did not work at all. I also tried to say that Jedi costume was the same thing as Luke Skywalker didn't fool that little guy. So I finally came to my senses and ordered this costume. Lawson was very adamant that every one in the family was to be a Star Wars character. I let Lawson know that we would not be dressing up only the kids in our family would be dressing up. Brylie also let him know she was not interested in being a character from Star Wars and that she was going to be something glamorous like a Movie Star.

We went to our church Fall Festival and Truck or Treat and had the kids pictures made. The rest of time Brylie got her hair sprayed with pink highlights and face painted and tried to win a cake at the cake walk. Lawson did nothing but play light savor fights with all his Star Wars friends. It was too funny they didn't care to jump on the jump houses or play games or anything the Fall Festival had to offer they played Star Wars the whole time. To our and especially Lawson's surprise Darth Vador made his appearance ( A.K.A. Papa Dale). Papa Dale was the only one who did listen to Lawson and dress the part of Darth Vador. He made Lawson's day and lots of little boys' day. Then the Star Wars battle really began and I think by the end a lot of the good guys had turned to the dark side because they were all over Darth Vador and were good buddies. Thanks again Papa Dale for this great surprise and memory.
